Hi Christina, apologies for the inconvenience. Our Suncare is packaged in Australian airless pump bottles, which means there is no tube, rather the product is pumped up from the base of the bottle and is moved up by pressure. It might have been that there was a small air bubble from manufacture and that needed to be pumped out.
Once you put the lid back on there will be a lot of excess air that has been added to the bottle and this will need to be pumped out, this could be about 40 pumps but once you start to see the product disperse, it shouldn't happen again 🤍

So happy I tried this product as there are so many out there. Faceshield true 50 invisible tint is superior. It glides on skin and doesn’t feel oily or leave white streaks. I love that it doesn’t irritate my eyes.
Probably THE best, 'non-greasy' sunscreen I've ever used!
I was recently on a 14hr day shoot outside, in the NT, and it didn't budge or melt off - I figured this would be the real test for it, and it passed with flying colours!
I also love the way it sits under foundation for day-to-day wear, as in the past i've never liked to wear both at once as the sunscreen normally makes it greasy but this was super matt and dry and is the perfect base. I also wear it under the CC cream meaning I'm really doubling up on my sunscreen strength
I finally feel like I've found the perfect sunscreen for Aussie weather and its well worth the price tag, nothing compares in qulaity

It's not perfect but it's very close. Very difficult to find a perfect sunscreen but this one ticks most boxes. It's light, doesn't sting your eyes, isn't a toxic chemical cocktail like the ones in stores, blends in well into guy face skin and doesn't have that annoying sunscreen smell. Also love how it has a matt finish and without a heavy look on your face. Downside is it still does look like you have something on your face unless you use a super tiny amount. However for protection you need use a decent amount hence it starts looking like make-up especially on male faces. Also doesn't have the Australian Licence number on packaging which sunscreens should have to give consumers confidence regarding its claimed protection. Aside from these things, it's still the best sunscreen on the market here in Australia and will recommend it to friends. It also works well with the cc cream from the same range if you want to add bronzing colour to your face after using the sunscreen so you don't look pasty if you have very light skin like me.
Whilst your product is fabulous the container it in packages in is terrible. I took a new tube in holidays brand new took well over a hundred pumps to get the cream out. I had a few days of getting it out easily before it required multiple pumps again and on my 18 day holiday there have been times I can’t get any out no matter how many pumps I do. I can’t get any lid off to get the sunscreen out in a different way. A simple tube would not have this problem. Perhaps my pump was faulty but for $80 worth of sunscreen I can only seem to use about $20.00 worth.

Application is something I am most unhappy with! Is it meant to be hard to pump from the container ? I have a huge problem with getting it out.

I love this sunscreen, especially when I’m looking for a matte finish. It feels comfortable on the skin, works beautifully on its own, and also layers really well under makeup. Highly recommend!
I love that this works as both a sunscreen and a foundation. It goes on really easily and the texture is super thin, so it never looks heavy or cakey on my skin. The matte finish keeps everything looking smooth, and the hint of colour gives me a nice, even complexion without feeling like I’m wearing full makeup. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and the fact that it’s SPF 50+ makes me feel properly protected throughout the day.
Unfortunately the shade of colour was much too dark for very fair skin like mine. A suggestion might be to have 3 different shades light, medium & dark.

I’ve tried so many mineral sunscreen that feel greasy going on & leave that heavy greasy texture all day, this sunscreen is the complete opposite with a very elegant formula, a tint that blends nicely & the added benefit of active ingredients!
I love the subtle tint in this SPF 50, it gives me a slight glow but not too much tint as I'm quite pale. The best part about it...I know and trust that I am covered from UVA, UVB and environmental damage 🖤 especially with all the recent product recalls the past 6 months.
After trying a sample of drNC Faceshield SPF50 I was hooked. There's so many things I love about this product; its non greasy, doesn't leave a white look, wears great under foundation and gives me confidence knowing my face is protected when I'm outdoors.

I ordered the Faceshield invisible tint as it was combined with the offer of a free lipshield SPF. UnfortunatelyI did not receive the lipshield SPF, and my email about this was ignored and I had no response.
The face shield SPF is good, it is quite a dark tint but it blends into your skin. It is a thick creme, and I thin it out with a bit of a moisturiser to make application easier. Not sure if you are supposed to do that :))
I do like it, but not sure if I would buy again.

Our formula includes added skincare actives and is 100% mineral, so it naturally has a different texture compared to purely chemical sunscreen formulas. This product is saving my face, neck and hands- especially when driving.
Product itself is good however the tube seems to be missing the to be able to pump the product out. I have to twist the lid off each time to get anything out. Very messy. Dissapointing

Hi Catherine, thanks for the review. Our SPF packaging are airless pumps, meaning the product is pumped up from the base and moved by pressure. With the lid now been taken off it will likely need quite a few pumps to get the excess air back out (anywhere up to 40). Once the product starts to come out again it’s good to go and shouldn't happen again :)
