The Inspiration
Formulated and innovated from Dr Natasha Cook’s experience working in the eczema department at The Children’s Hospital, and after writing more than 10,000 prescriptions for inflamed, irritated and compromised skin, she created the balm she wished she had on hand when skin needs extra care, comfort and barrier support.

I have had a month now to try out the beautiful new DrNC Barrier Repair Balm and I am very happy to share my feedback and results on this lovely new product.
Firstly, I love the new packaging in the White tub. It is very classic and clean looking. The handy built in applicator inside the lid is wonderful for keeping the product clean and avoiding contamination from your fingers.
I really like that this product is virtually fragrance free so it doesn't interfere with my DrNC Dry Body Oil or Body Butter and lotion's fragrances. It's definitely not greasy at all either.
I recently had a large SCC removed from the left hand side of my nose and I couldn't wait to see if the Balm would assist in the scarring and healing of this procedure. Whilst the wound had healed prior to receiving the balm, I was still experiencing some redness and light swelling and sensitivity in the area. Using the balm a few times a day this past month on the scar, along with my usual DrNC routine has, I am sure, assisted in the scarring being less noticeable and healing correctly. I am also using this a couple of times a week on my dry heels which are now looking fantastic, the backs of my hands and my décolletage which has some sun damage, and those areas are also looking a little less aged due to the wonderful hydrating effect of the balm. It's a great price as well and such a handy product to have in your skincare routine. A little does go a long way.
In my photo, I am wearing DrNC Faceshield Sheer Matte and DrNC CC cream in Medium 3 mixed together as a light foundation, and whilst the scar is still visible, the Balm and the two Sun care products have helped cover this up nicely and are keeping my face protected from further damage. Thank you again DrNC!
Bought this when it just came out and this has to be the best balm to boost dry or irritated skin. Had some irritation from hay fever in the nose area. Used this for a couple of days and skin’s back to normal. I use it overnight as a moisturizer - not thick nor sticky. Blends into skin really well…I highly recommend this. Even use it in the day when my skin needs extra nourishment.
Picked this up in clinic to use post laser and wow! Skin felt completely hydrated after one use and sleeping in it overnight I woke up to completely glowing skin. Will be using this every night as the last step in my routine 😍
I was lucky enough to try this before it was released and, what can I say, wow! I absolutely love it. I’m usually a little cautious with balms as they can feel thick or heavy on the skin, but this one feels beautifully nourishing without being too much. I’ve been using it overnight for an extra boost of hydration, and my skin feels so fresh, soft and hydrated when I wake up. I’m already recommending it to my friends and family!
