I took both the face shield and the Sheer shield to Europe this summer. My skin never looked better. I felt safe that both products were true SPF50. I do re apply as required, wear a hat and do not burn under the Greek sun.

I was 19 and told I had melanoma, 4 days later I was in hospital for a life saving operation. From then on, I’ve never left the house without wearing sunscreen. I found this brand after a client of mine recommended the Matte Zinc and now have gotten the invisible zinc also as part of my golf kit. I wear SPF daily. At 56 it’s a non negotiable. This DNC super shield is a natural physical blocker, a true 50 SPF that’s dewy, has silky skin feel AND actives. Living in Queensland I can't afford to not wear sunscreen every day. This is perfect for my morning walks as it’s long-lasting throughout the day and isn’t greasy. It sits really nice under makeup and also blends in seamlessly with no white cast. Super impressed by this product. Light weight with no white cast
Love this sunscreen. Easy to apply for full coverage and sits beautifully under makeup so I’ve finally found a sunscreen I happily use every day as part of morning skin routine. Feels great on skin and so fantastic that it’s tested in Aus to meet Aus spf standards.
You only need a small amount for your whole face and neck. It is smootyh and creamy and is a great base for my make up or to wear by itself.
The SPF can be work under any makeup. Is soaks into the skin beautifully, has no sunscreen scent, does not leave any white cast. Is wonderful to use as a primer, on its own and I can no longer do any day without applying this. I sometimes also use as a primer in the evening as the glow is magnificent under makeup. And I have oily skin which is has no impact whatsoever.
It’s great, sits well under make up and does not peel during the day! Goes on easily and smoothly and no white residue.
Another great spf. No tint, no greasy feel and light on the face. It does leave a tiny white cast, but if you work it in in small amounts in patches at a time you hardly notice it. Love it
It applies with such smooth consistency l love how my skin feels after the application best sunscreen l have ever used particularly knowing it has such a high protection factor.

I recently purchased the Sheershield spf 50 looking for a mineral based spf that was trustworthy but felt good on the skin, disappeared, didn't sting my eyes and sat perfectly with or without make and NO greasy residue. Whilst it goes on white it literally absorbs beautifully within minutes. It is now my favourite SPF that I won and I doo not leave my house without putting it on my face neck chest hands and arms. Knowing I'll be protected especially driving. It's a 5 star for me :)

It has a great texture that feels nice and light on the skin. It takes a few seconds to rub in and then disappears. I layer it under a tinted faceshield or colour corrector for maximum sun protection. It doesnt give me acne like other brands have

I use the sheer face shield every day - either alone or under foundation.It seems to act as a primer for my makeup. It is easy to apply with your fingertips, is sheer and does not leave a white cast. I have very sensitive skin- this sunscreen does not irritate my skin at all. Once applied, it feels comfortable on my skin. I am a loyal purchaser and advocate of all DrNC skincare products.

If you're looking for the perfect sunscreen and have had the good fortune of coming across Dr NC's SheerShield then look no further. This is the Holy Grail of sunscreen. It manages to feel protective and moisturising but sinks straight in leaving no white cast or greasy residue on your skin. I love it underneath the CC cream on my face, and all over my neck and decolletage. Absolute magic.
This sunscreen has now replaced the my La Roche Posay anthelios sunscreen which I’ve adored and used religiously for 11 years. Reasons why, doesn’t sting my eyes and gives me this incredible glowy brighten skin (I’m an Asian skin type also). It even slightly brightens my undereye area from all the lack of sleep I have with toddler currently. I have also applied the sunscreen before foundation application - used the Giorgio Armani’s luminous skin foundation and it doesn’t cake either. Loving this sunscreen so much, I’m already onto my second bottle since launch. Note tho, because it’s a mineral sunscreen it does feel like you have sunscreen on compared to chemical sunscreen. Which I honestly don’t mind because it means I know I haven’t skip the most important step of my skincare routine!

My skin feels good after a day of wearing sheershield, and unlike many other sunscreens I haven’t had any skin breakouts. It does have a sheen to it but I apply my matte foundation on top and end up with a dewy finish. Thank you DrNC

I have religiously been using another mineral clinic brand of supposedly SPF 50 until it was recalled. Ordered this and I must say it is the BEST mineral SPF 50 I have ever used. It’s smooth texture goes on over other skin care products, gives my skin a glow and works well under makeup. I have been using DrNC skincare for over 15 years and can genuinely give the entire range five stars. My 18-year-old daughter now uses the products too, and they have made such a difference to her problematic teenage skin. What I have always loved about DrNC is the simplicity. The routine is straightforward, the packaging is simple and to the point, and there are no gimmicks or endless products to navigate. Most importantly, the range has been developed by dermatologist Dr Natasha Cook and is grounded in the science of skin and what actually works. For me, the proof has always been my own skin. On the occasions over the years when I have been too busy to replenish my products, I notice the difference. They have become absolute staples in my skincare routine — two simple steps morning and night, plus the Concentrated Micropeel wipes, which I would hate to be without. I also love the cleanser, which cleans my skin beautifully without leaving it feeling dry or tight like many foaming cleansers can. The one thing I have always struggled to find, though, is the right SPF. I am very particular about sunscreen. I want SPF 50+ protection, but I don’t want something greasy, chalky or heavy. I don’t want a white zinc cast over my face, neck and chest, and because I am very active, I also don’t particularly want a tinted sunscreen that feels like I am wearing makeup. So I was very interested to try the new SheerShield SPF 50. And I absolutely love it. It really is sheer, it is mineral based, and it feels beautiful on the skin. The finish is probably what surprised me most — fresh and slightly dewy without looking shiny, and definitely not heavy or matte. On days when I’m not working, I wear it over my serum and moisturiser without makeup, and twice now I have been asked whether I had just had a facial. On work days, when I do wear makeup, I’ve also found that SheerShield sits beautifully underneath it and almost feels like a really good primer. My makeup goes on smoothly over the top without the heaviness or tackiness I’ve experienced with other SPFs. After all these years of loving the DrNC range, SheerShield feels like the piece that was missing for me. Finding an SPF 50 that I genuinely enjoy putting on every morning is a big deal, particularly because sun protection is such an important part of skincare. So this is simply an honest five-star review from a very long-term DrNC user. SheerShield has gone straight into my daily routine, along with the rest of the range.

Amazing results on dark skin!!! I recently bought the drNC SHEERSHIELD® INVISIBLE SPF 50. I was skeptical at first because I’ve been using various invisible zinc products on my Indian skin for decades and, until Sheershield, I hadn’t found one that was actually invisible. When I first apply Sheershield, it does look white on my dark skin. However, after a few minutes, it absorbs into my skin and leaves a nice, light sunscreen sheen. It doesn’t have the thick or oily feeling of most zinc sunscreens, and it doesn’t sting or cause rashes on my skin—it’s just really nice to wear. My partner loves it as well. I do quite a bit of outdoor exercise—running, mountain biking and climbing—so finding a proper SPF 50 that doesn’t make me break out in a rash is really important to me. I’m so glad drNC has produced a proper SPF 50 that works for dark skin and outdoor enthusiasts. Thank you!
